Biography
Cody Pifer is a Certified Public Accountant and Audit Supervisor at Lauterbach, Borschow & Co. He was born and raised in Des Moines, Iowa and earned his Bachelor of Arts in Accounting at Simpson College in Indianola, Iowa.
After earning his undergraduate degree in 2016, Cody began his career in the State of Iowa’s Office of Auditor. For four years, he gained government audit experience and advanced from an Assistant Auditor to Senior Auditor.
In 2020, Cody joined the audit team at Lauterbach, Borschow & Co. as an Audit Associate and was promoted to Audit Supervisor in 2023. He has since gained experience auditing financial institutions, restaurants, employee benefit plans, and manufacturers.
