Biography
Cody Pifer is a Certified Public Accountant and Audit Manager at Lauterbach, Borschow & Co. He was born and raised in Des Moines, Iowa, and earned his Bachelor of Arts in Accounting at Simpson College in Indianola, Iowa.
After earning his undergraduate degree in 2016, Cody began his career in the State of Iowa’s Office of Auditor. For four years, he gained government audit experience and advanced from an Assistant Auditor to Senior Auditor.
Cody joined the audit team at Lauterbach, Borschow & Co. as an Audit Associate in 2020 and was promoted to Audit Supervisor in 2023. In 2025, he advanced to his current role as Audit Manager. He has developed expertise in auditing financial institutions, restaurants, employee benefit plans, and manufacturing companies.
