Biography
Cindy Fields is a Certified Public Account and tax partner at the local accounting firm, Lauterbach, Borschow & Co. Cindy has a Bachelor of Business Administration from The University of Texas at El Paso.
After earning her degree, she began her accounting career working for Coopers & Lybrand and later owned her own firm. Cindy joined Lauterbach, Borschow & Co. as a tax partner in 1997. Throughout her career, Cindy has served a diverse client base ranging in size and industry. Cindy specializes in Cross-border Businesses, Automobile Dealerships, Farming and Ranching, and Restaurants.
Cindy is a native El Pasoan and an active member of the community. She was appointed by Governor Rick Perry to serve two terms on the Finance Commission of Texas. She is a graduate of the 25th class of Leadership El Paso. Cindy currently serves as a board member of El Paso Children’s Hospital, a committee member of Paso del Norte Health Foundation Finance, Audit and Investment committee, a board member and Treasure of Hub of Human Innovation, and a member of the UTEP Accounting and Information Systems Advisory Council.
