Mike Murguia is a certified public accountant and tax director at Lauterbach, Borschow & Co. He began his public accounting career at Lauterbach as a tax intern in 1998, concluding his thirteen-year tenure at the firm as a senior tax manager. Since then, Mike gained extensive experience by serving in various capacities at different organizations within our community. With over 24 years of expertise, he has offered accounting, tax, and valuation services to diverse clients across multiple sectors, such as automotive, construction, real estate, transportation, and franchise operations. Mike, a native of El Paso, has actively contributed to organizations like the El Paso Chapter of the Texas Society of Certified Public Accountants, El Paso Opera, the El Paso Opera Foundation, and the El Paso County Tax Increment Reinvestment Zone #5, showcasing his commitment to the community. Additionally, he brings extensive knowledge in assisting U.S. individuals with their international tax obligations.
