Biography
Maria Hadjimarcou began her academic journey by earning a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology and Health from The University of Texas at Austin. After graduation, she discovered her passion for accounting and completed her prerequisite courses at The University of Texas at El Paso. Maria then returned to Austin to pursue and earn her Master in Professional Accounting from The University of Texas at Austin.
In early 2025, Maria returned to El Paso and joined the audit team at Lauterbach, Borschow & Co. as an Audit Associate. In 2026, she was promoted to Senior Audit Associate and earned her Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license.
