Biography
Karen De Santiago, a native of El Paso, began her academic journey by earning an Associate of Arts in Business Administration from Doña Ana Community College in New Mexico. She then pursued and obtained her Bachelor of Accountancy from New Mexico State University. Following her graduation, Karen relocated to Albuquerque, where she gained valuable experience at Axiom CPAs and Pattillo, Brown & Hill LLP.
In 2024, Karen returned to El Paso and joined the audit team at Lauterbach, Borschow, and Co. as a Senior Audit Associate. She brings extensive experience in conducting audit engagements across a diverse range of industries, including government, manufacturing and distribution, real estate, construction, and non-profit organizations.
Karen is also actively pursuing her Certified Public Accountant license.
