Biography
Edgar Martinez is a Tax Associate at Lauterbach, Borschow & Co. He holds a Master of Accountancy and a Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting with a minor in Computer Information Systems from The University of Texas at El Paso.
Edgar began his career in public accounting as a Tax Accountant at a local CPA firm, where he prepared a wide variety of tax returns, including those for partnerships, individuals, fiduciaries, and franchises. His prior experience also includes internship roles at El Paso Water and The Vanguard Group, where he supported budgeting, global compensation, and corporate accounting functions.
He joined Lauterbach, Borschow & Co. as a Tax Intern in February 2025 and was later promoted to Tax Associate. Edgar brings with him a strong background in data analysis, tax compliance, and financial systems.
