Cesar Ortega

Cesar Ortega is an Audit Associate at Lauterbach, Borschow & Co. He holds a Master of Accountancy with a concentration in Taxation and a Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting with a minor in Entrepreneurship from The University of Texas at El Paso.

While pursuing his Master’s degree, Cesar began his public accounting career as a Tax Intern at a local accounting firm and transitioned into a full-time audit role upon graduation. He has experience conducting financial statement audits for governmental, nonprofit, and private sector clients across Texas, New Mexico, and Mexico.

In addition to his audit experience, Cesar has supported tax preparation services, assisting with individual and fiduciary returns. He is bilingual in English and Spanish, and is currently pursuing his CPA licence.
