Bijal Maniar, CPA

Bijal is a certified public accountant and senior tax manager at Lauterbach, Borschow & Co. Bijal was born and raised in India where she earned her Bachelor of Commerce at Gujarat University. In 1999, she moved to Chicago, IL and worked as a senior accountant for the City of McHenry, IL. Bijal moved to El Paso in 2003 and began a private bookkeeping practice working with clients in the food service, franchise, jewelry and whole furniture industries. In 2012, she began working for a local corporation as the assistant controller.

Bijal joined the audit and assurance team at Lauterbach, Borschow & Co. in 2016.  As an audit associate, Bijal worked on employee benefit plan audits and gained experience auditing clients in financial institution, manufacturing, nonprofit, and transportation industries. In 2018, Bijal joined the tax team as a tax associate. Since moving into the tax practice, Bijal has continued working with clients in the food service and nonprofit industries and has gained extensive experience working with start-ups and clients in the healthcare and real estate industries. 

Bijal earned her Master of Accountancy degree at The University of Texas at El Paso where she was a member of the honor societies Beta Gamma Sigma and Phi Kappa Phi and has been the recipient of the Newton D. Becker Scholarship.
