Orlando Bustillos

Orlando Bustillos is a Senior Tax Associate at Lauterbach, Borschow & Co. He holds both a Master of Accountancy and a Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting from The University of Texas at El Paso.

Orlando brings several years of experience in public accounting, with a strong background in tax compliance and bookkeeping services. Prior to joining the firm, he worked at a local accounting firm where he prepared federal and informational tax returns for individuals and entities, supported payroll tax compliance, and assisted in the preparation of financial statements.

Earlier in his career, Orlando managed a portfolio of small business clients, providing full-cycle bookkeeping, preparing financial statements, and handling a variety of compliance filings, including sales tax, franchise tax, and 1099 reporting. He also has experience with cross-border reporting, including reconciling Mexican financial records for U.S. compliance purposes. His diverse experience and client-focused approach make him a valuable member of the firm’s tax team.
